Pharmaceutical Sciences Courses

Pharmacy is a science which deals with chemistry, with drugs and its preparation as proper medicines. It studies options of treatment and various diseases as well. There are three fields of pharmacy; general pharmacy, industrial pharmacy and hospital pharmacy. There is need of skilled and trained manpower to fulfill the demand of the field. Therefore there are various institutions and colleges with pharmacy courses to train the students.

Required eligibility
Minimum required eligibility for admission in B. Pharm. and D.Pharm.is 12th pass. The student must have got 50% marks in aggregate of physics, chemistry and biology. The age of student must not be more than 23 years. Required percentage and age may vary in different institutions. D. Pharm. passed student are eligible for Bachelor degree 2nd year directly if they have secured minimum 50% marks in diploma course. Minimum required eligibility for M. Pharm. is B. Pharm. The student should have secured minimum of 55% marks in theory papers of B. Pharm. Required percentage may vary from place to place. Some institutions require GATE qualified students for fresh seats of M.Pharm.
