ICET-2008 Notification

ICET(Integrated Common Entrance Test): ICET will be conducted to seek the admission into MCA and MBA courses in Universities in Andhra Pradesh and their affiliated colleges. Under APSCHE(Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education) This ICET exam will be conducted by any of the Universities which are in Andhra Pradesh. The notification for ICET-2008 will be issued on 4th February,2008. Osmania University is conducting the ICET-2008.

ICET Exam will be conducted on 11th May, 2008(Sunday) Time:10:00 AM to 12:30 PM

Sale of Application forms begin from the 4th February,2008. Application forms are available in all Head post offices, e-seva centres in Andhra Pradesh(AP).
Cost of Application Form is 250/-.

Last date for Submission of Application Forms is 4th March, 2008 upto 5:00 P.M (Without late fee). 12th March, 2008 upto 5:00 P.M(With late fee of Rs.500/-)

NOTE: Dully filled Application forms advised to submit through Head Post Offices Speed Post or can be submitted in person at
The Convenor, ICET-2008, Beside University Computer Centre,
University College of Engineering, Osmania University,
Hyderabad-500 007(A.P) on or before given date.

“This year for ICET-2008 there is a facility to download the Application Form onine also, they have to submit the form with the printed form of information entered, with a D.D of amount mentioned(Note: the DD has to be taken before filling the application form online) to the address mentioned on/before the date. They can download the hall ticket by entering their registration number and application form number”.

Eligibility: Students completed there Bachelors Degree of 3 years with Mathematics as one of the subject in 10+2 (or) Bachelors Degree of 3 years with Mathematics as one of the subjects.
*There is no negative marking in ICET, each question carries 1 mark. Total of 200 questions, 2 1/2 hours of time(150 mins).

Syllabus for ICET:
There will be 3 sections in ICET which consists of
Section A - Analytical Ability(75 Questioins - 75 Marks).
1. Data Sufficiency.
2. Problem Solving.
1. Sequence and Series.
2. Data Analysis.
3. Coding and Decoding.
4. Date, Time, Arrangements.
5. Calender and Clock Problems.
Section B - Mathematical Ability(75 Questions - 75 Marks).
1. Arithmetical Ability.
2. Algebraic and Geometrical Ability.
3. Statistical Ability.
Section C - Verbal Ability.(50 Questions - 50 Marks).
