Defence Management Courses

Serving your own country by joining a defence service always gives you a great feeling and it’s a noble thing to do. Qualification:
After successfully serving any field of Indian defence for some time and reaching a high and responsible one becomes eligible to undergo defence management course. It is not possible for any common civilian to take this course.

Course and its duration:
Long defence management course (LDMC) is a residential course of 42 weeks duration mainly attended by over 80 select officers of the rank of Col or Capt (IN)/Gp Capt as well as civilian officers from the MOD and R&D organizations. Also there are six vacancies allotted by officers from foreign countries and para military forces (PMF). The duration of Senior Defence Management Course is 42days, attended by 25-30 selected officers of the rank of Brig/Cmde or by Air Cmde and also by civilian officers from the MOD and R&D organizations. But one needs to remember the fact that for any defence job one should be immensely strong; hard mental and physical toughness is required for this kind of job.
