CLAT(Common Law Admission Test) - 2008

This CLAT - 2008 exam is conducted to seek the admission into seven Law Universities in India. The rank obtained in this CLAT helps for an admission into various Law Courses of the Universities.This is first CLAT exam that is conducting by NLSIU(National Law School of India University), Bangalore.

 * This CLAT exam is to undertake the Under-Graduate or  Post Graduates programmes in LAW.

Date of Examination : 11th May, 2008. This CLAT Exam is conducted at Seven Universities and at other 12 Centres across the Country.

Examination Pattern:
CLAT exam consists of 2 hour objective-type questions of 5 Sections, English Language, General Knowledge, Basic Mathematics, Legal and Logical Reasoning.

Eligibility:
10+2 Examination or equivalent with not less than 50% marks, Students of March/April 2008 pass outs are also eligible.

Submission of Application forms can be done Online/Off line procedures.
Online: The completed and printed online CLAT 2008 application form along with DD for Rs. 2000/-  should be drawn in favour of Covnenor, CLAT and payable at Bangalore along with other enclosures should be sent to the Convenor.  Address is mentioned above.

Offline: The application forms can be collected from Corporation Banks and State Bank of India against the payment of Rs. 2000/-.
