Qualifications
The qualification requirement for enrolling into charted accountancy course is 10+2 pass in any discipline, or those who are waiting their results can also enroll themselves for charted accountancy course. The graduate students can directly join the PE-11 module.

Courses
The entire course for charted accountancy is divided into four modules, the first one is basically the orientation module called PE-1, and then after that there is PE-11 which is called the main course. And then the third modules is called apprentice and last fourth module is called the final course. The process for registration for PE-1 and PE-11 are open through out the year, and students have flexibility of enrolling themselves at any time during the year. However, as far as examinations are concerned, it is conducted twice a year in the month of May and November. One more thing which should be kept in mind before enrolling for this program is that, you have to register before ten months of the exam. And after completion of Module to i.e. PE-11, one can register themselves for audit clerk’s position and have practical training.

Course duration
The Chartered accountancy course is of 2years duration excluding the training module.

Institute of Chartered Accountants of India
In India, Institute of chartered Accountants of India is the governing body for charted accountancy courses. This governing body was established in the year 1949, by the Chartered Accountant Act. And from the same year the Charted Accountancy education started in our country. The ICAI is the second largest accountant organization in the world. It has centers in almost every part of the country and also in some foreign countries.
